Hoping for what other countries already have

The first version of this strip had “fewer school shootings” instead of “more safety and yet less police brutality.” We’d already experienced 322 of them this year. I changed it just to keep it a little lighter around the holidays. And I hoped we wouldn’t see our 323rd by the time this ran.
