The Middle East is one reason why I’ve never been religious. Three of the world’s major religions are centered there, and there’s been bloodshed and tears there since long before I was born. I decided as a small child that that probably was not coincidental.

Now for a less consequential set of coincidences:

I’ve probably lost goat afficionados for good with this one. But they weren’t routinely hunted by goats in petting zoos, like I was as a child.
